  19. Ever since John posted the original comments on Academic pricing, we've
  20. gotten a lot of questions, so here is the full explanation of the new
  21. Academic & Governmental pricing for Lightwave 5.0.

  24. Who qualifies:
  25. 1) Students or teachers from any accredited school, grade 1 on up.
  26. 2) Employees of Local, State, or Federal government offices in
  27.    North America only.

  30. How to qualify:
  31. The dealer will require any *one* of the following:
  32.  
  33. 1) Copy of valid & current ID proving your student or employee status.
  34. 2) Copy of pay stub or similar proof of current employment.
  35. 3) Statement on letterhead from supervisor/department head/personnel dep't.
  36.    or similar verification of employment status.
  37. 4) Order placed on standard institutional purchase order.

  42. Outright purchase - $895 + S/H on any platform.
  43. Upgrade - $295 + S/H on same platform only. No cross-platform upgrades.

  48. Orders can be taken from any Lightwave dealer who wishes to participate. I
  49. would imagine that we all will. I can't see any reason why any dealer
  50. would not, there's no special requirements.
